The time has come ladies-summer has ended just as fast as it came. What does every Sassy Gal need to end her summer right? A gathering of course! The bbq’s and outdoor and parties do not have to end with Labor day! Celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Throw your self one last hoorah! It could be an intimate dinner party or an all out rager. Either way there is no need to prevent yourself from enjoying this gorgeous weather.
An intimate dinner party outside under the sunset with sangria, grilled vegetables and delicious summer treats you know you will miss once the air becomes far to crisp to spend the majority of your time outside is the perfect way to cap off your summer. Invite your closest friends to celebrate with you and enjoy yourself.
Not the dinner party kind of gal? Throw yourself a party of larger scale. The key to these gatherings ladies is to merely celebrate the end of one season and the welcoming of another. We all know that with fall and winter things don’t seem quite as bright. So why not live it up this one last time and embrace the change in seasons.
I like to look at each season as original. This past summer was not just another summer, it was the only summer 2010 we will ever have. Therefore, this coming fall is not just any fall it is the only fall 2010 that we will get. Therefore, why not live it up and make the best of it.
Please share your ideas of celebrating the end of summer!

Okay Ladies-
How many of you wake up every morning dreading going to your job? How many of you feel as though your life is a dull, uneventfull and repetitive? Sounds like you need a change. Maybe, it is time for you to focus on you, rather than on your job. The best way to solve this problem is a change of career. Maybe it is the employer? Maybe it is you? Maybe you have grown out of that job? No matter the cause, the solution should always be what will make you happy.
Find yourself a new job. Nervous about starting something new? This is totally understandable, but you only have one life to live so why not take that risk. Dive into something new. The brain thrives on knowledge and thrills.
Ease yourself into a new career by going about it slowly and turning down careers that don’t quite suit you. If you don’t feel comfortable-do not do it. You want to be happy and satisfied, not nervous and stressed.
Tired of the typical nine to five job? Try doing something free lance. Or possibly even starting up your own business. No matter your age or title you should always follow your dreams and never let yourself settle. As I said, you only have one life so why not live it fulfilled.
A new day is wonderful thing. It awakes us with the hope of an endless amount of possibilities. There is no telling where the day may lead us so why not wake up with a smile on our faces. We shouldn’t dread the day, because of a job.
So ladies I leave you with this. Let those stars in your eyes never fade and follow your dreams.

I know that you are probably thinking a simple no would suffice or just avoiding returning their phone call, but it you want be sure not to cut any ties. You applied for the job for a reason and who is saying you won’t ever need it in the future. Therefore, you want to be as kind and courteous as possible. Let them know you have been giving another opportunity and apologize for any inconvenience.
You also, want to thank them for giving you the opportunity to work for them. They’re a business so they will understand rejection, but they will not understand rude behavior or avoidance.

Okay so it is the night before your big interview and you are setting your alarm clock and it hits you…what time should you arrive for you big interview?!
I recommend allocating yourself an ample amount of time for all those little bumps in the road that could occur. Include, parking, traffic and such in your timing. Be sure to have the companies number that will be interviewing you incase something were to occur and you will be late. That way you could call and let them know.
Arrival time? Try to get there 5 minutes early. Ten minutes seems to desperate, therefore five minutes is a happy medium. When checking in let them know that you are five minutes early, it lets them know that you are prompt and aware of time management.
Some things that you can do to prepare yourself for your big day to ensure your arrival time:
1.) If you don’t know where the company is, go on a dry run the night before.
2.) Does it take you a while to get ready? Wake up 10 minutes earlier to give yourself an extra head start.
3.) Pick out your outfit a head of time. Iron it and such the night before it saves you time and reassures you that you will look your best since you have an ample amount of time to put it together.

Going to an interview can be quite frightening and intimidating. So we will handle this topic step by step. The first step is what to wear! You want to wear a nice suit or dress. Be sure that it is well tailored. You don’t want to look too frumpy. Also, if you go with dress option be sure that it is not too short. It should fall just above your knee. I know that our generation is quite the fan of flip flops, but do NOT wear them to an interview. Wear flats or some sandals with a heel. Also, try to refrain from showing too much cleavage. Some of us bustier women have difficulty covering our chests, so be sure it is not too risque.
Long story short you want to look put together. Nobody wants to hire someone who doesn’t have their act together. You can only give one first impression of yourself, so why not make it a good one?
